Hi, I’m Sarah Kim—the founder of Salon Dain and a hairstylist with over 16 years of experience creating beautiful, confidence-boosting hair across some of Toronto’s most refined neighbourhoods, including Forest Hill, Lawrence Park, and Yorkville.

My journey began in my mother’s salon back home in Korea. From a young age, I was immersed in a world of beauty, care, and genuine connection. Watching her build trust with every client taught me something lasting: great hair is just the beginning—what truly matters is how someone feels when they leave the chair.

 

That foundation led me to train intensively in Korea under one of the country’s most respected master designers. There, I refined the art of precision cutting, elegant updos, and advanced styling techniques rooted in both innovation and tradition. Later, my time in Yorkville allowed me to develop a more fashion-forward, trend-aware aesthetic—modern, upscale, and effortlessly polished.

I take the time to understand your lifestyle, preferences, and hair goals so we can create a look that not only enhances your natural beauty but works seamlessly for your everyday life—whether that’s luminous, lived-in blondes, soft layers, bouncy blowouts, or curl-perfecting cuts.
